The Ashes Barns
Purchased as a derelict farm in 2006, it was a significant restoration challenge to transform The Ashes Barns into an award-winning and much beloved wedding venue. The Ashes Barns features, a rustic 15th century stone barn, a charming 17th century stone barn, and a magnificent H-shaped 16th century country house.
Pendrell Hall
The Mill Barns
Our first purpose-built wedding venue. The waterfront site was acquired in July 2015 and The Mill Barns opened with a full order book in July 2017. Its audacious design, featuring three interconnected oak-framed barns continues to capture the imagination of couples, with interest in this stunning venue as high today as when we first opened.
Foxtail Barns
Foxtail Barns is our second purpose-built wedding venue; part romantic red-brick and oak beams but with a contemporary barn featuring industrial styling, wrought iron and distressed woodwork.
Following a protracted planning application, development started in early 2020; as the UK subsequently ground to a halt, our development pace slowed but we opened on schedule, in July 2021 to a full order book.
Ensarb Estates
Our latest exciting project; opening for weddings in the Autumn of 2023!
Influenced by Britain’s industrial past, expect patinated metals, glorious architectural arches, romantic, welcoming spaces and imperfect beauty. This one is different again, but our core offering to couples of phenomenal service from our teams, no corkage drinks and exclusive-use are a constant.

Our incredible teams are the beating heart of Ensarb, it’s down to them that our couples experience the Best Day Ever on their wedding day. As a company we employ over 45 staff, all of whom help make our couples’ dreams a reality.

The Tawny
The UK’s first deconstructed hotel. The Tawny opened in July 2021; a unique guest experience, featuring all the best bits from a traditional hotel, combined with the luxury of privacy and space.
Developed in partnership with like-minded entrepreneurs, William & Francesca Scott-Moncrieff, The Tawny’s focus on wellness and relaxation, combined with a sublime dining experience and luxury interiors saw it named one of The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Stay’ and The Telegraph’s ‘Most Romantic Hotels in the UK’.
Consall Gardens Estate
Explore woodland, stroll through lakeside gardens, find peace in secluded dells and delight in enchanting follies. 70 acres of exploration await you within the grounds of Consall Gardens Estate.
After successfully acquiring the site in 2019, we’ve worked steadily to realise the potential of these stunning gardens through sustainable tourism whilst treasuring its heritage, landscape and ecology. Now home to both Foxtail Barns and The Tawny, it is a pleasure to welcome guests to this stunning valley in the heart of Staffordshire.
Sarah Reeves Interiors
Sarah’s inherent creativity, her vibrant style and love of design, have seen her create the most stunning interiors across our portfolio.
Blending classic and modern design she breathed new life into the historical 16th Century Country House at The Ashes Barns, before designing the interiors of all our wedding venues and their accommodations, then most recently, pushing design boundaries at The Tawny. Sarah’s interiors reflect the personality of the building and inspire the visitors who spend time in them.
